2D unstructured Euler solver

I have developed a 2D unstructured Euler solver. It uses Roe Scheme (not high order, only first order). Time advancing is done using 4th R-K.
I am now testing it with NACA0012 airfoil. When inlet MA=0.8, the code failed because one cell near the sonic point at the upper wall has a negative pressure. Reducing the time step does not help at all. I would like to know if there is anyone who has some experience in dealing with transonic computation. Esp. if the Roe scheme need some modification in transonic flow? Thanks a lot. |
