surface Normals

Hi to all..
I generated 3D unstructured Mesh in gridgen. Now need surface normals. So can anybody know how to take surface normals, by any commercial software package & aslo by C Programming.. Plz reply me ... --- Madhukar |

Check any good Finite Element book and you should find this described in details: for a given planar surface (a polygonal face) take two intersecting vectors and calculate their cross product, this will give you the normal to that surface ...
