Dear Friends,
I am about to start researching the turbulent air flow characteristics in a hard disk drive using CFD. In this connection I invite advices and suggestions on the turbulent model to be used here. Also let me know if there exists any literature that provides validation for numerical studies conducted on this problem. Cheers Sundar |

Hi,
I will be involved in flow and particle simulations in a Hard disk drive. Of special interest is the microflows in the head-disk interface and coupling pariticle methods in such region to any macromethod like FLUENT. Can any one help me in giving some ideas as to the micro method to be used and coupling with a macro method? Benzi |
