Hello,
I am performing an aeroacoustic simulation on an automotive fan attached to its cooler. The simulation is made on a commercial software with a Reynolds Stress Model. My problem is that I donīt really know how to simulate correctly the influence of the cooler on the noise. For classical CFD, a porosity is used but for acoustics I think this wonīt be judicious. Iīm studying the influence of the stator of the fan on the unsteady noise but I think the results wonīt be good with a porosity instead of the fine geometry of the cooler. Did someone already performed such simulation ? suggestions to simulate acoustics on automobile coolers ? |
