Standard K-Epsilon TO Reynolds Stress calculation (for convergence)

Hello everyone,
I'm having problems to make the reynolds stress turbulence model converge (The scaled residuals stay between 10-2 and 10-3. So I thought about starting the calculation with a standard k-epsilon and then switch it to Reynolds stress when converged enough. I started a calculation with the standard k-epsilon model, the residuals are between 10-6 and 10-7 and are still decreasing , should I wait till they become constant before switching to Reynolds stress, or can I switch it right now even if the residuals can still go smaller ? Thank you for your help |
