Hi all Here's a simple question, but I'm not familiar with fluid dynamics, so please someone help me to clear it out.

-------------/-----------------------------------------

-------------\----------------++++++++-----------------

suppose there is a tube with a nozzle in the left portion. The tube is filled with liquid. When a heater is applyed at the "++++" position, and liquid begin to vaporize. Which direction will the fluid flow? and Why?

Thank you very much!

Ryan

Thats not very easy to explain. You should consult "Hydrodynamic Stability" by PG Drazin.

Hi Leo

Thanks for your suggestion, although not familiar with this area, but I'll check it. Thank you!
