Mr. Matti is on a distinguished road
Hello,

i try to find out an effect of interpolation scheme on the quality of a higher order finite difference scheme on a staggered grid. I.e. is there any relation between type of interpolation (such as spline- or linear interpolation) which causes to a correlated error with the advection scheme like dispersion errors or something else?
Can anybody refer to a paper or something else?

Thanks
