I woulkd like to know how to stimate the reattachment length in the flow over a backward facing step. Thanks. |

The reattachment length is the size of the recirculation zone behind of the step.

I dont know. I think if you make hi=Vi*dt or hi=((Vi+Vi+1)/2)*dt (dt=step by time, hi - by distance, Vi - local velocity) everything will be O.K.
