I discussed with CFDRC some time ago about opening a forum here at CFD Online for CFD-ACE, CFD-Fastran and other CFDRC products. However, we never followed up on it. I suspect that there are not enough CFDRC users to support a discussion forum - you need a certain critical number of users to get the discussions going and keep the momentum.
If I get a lot of requests for a CFDRC forum I will condsider opening one here at CFD Online. In the mean time CFDRC users are very welcome to use the main forum to discuss CFDRC related things. If we get a lot of CFDRC discussions going here I will open a separate CFDRC forum. |

I am pretty sure that a lot of visitors here do use CFDRC. I think it's only a matter of starting out.
So let me ask the first one: Has anyone tried their new beta software? Have you noticed anything different in the flow solver? |

CFDRC no longer owns the CFD-ACE and CFD-Fastran softwares. They are now owned by ESI. See press release <http://www.esi-group.com/Members/crr...ish-final.html>
