Hi, friends:
I got a question on trying to solve unsteady diffusion problem using Green's function method, where I found that the Green's function in my case involves complex error function, such as: erf(a+b i), do you know how complex error function can be calculated? thanks, Wen |

A complex error function is simply an incomplete gamma function. See the mathematica website:
http://mathworld.wolfram.com/Erf.html http://mathworld.wolfram.com/Incompl...aFunction.html I think they should be easy to calculate by recurrence relations, but I have never done this before. |
