i have just started working on my PhD thesis, in which the problem of the evolution and decay of turbulence in a stratified atmosphere will be considered.At the moment i am doing a survey in literature on this particular subject and I am most interested in finding experimental or DNS results. Can anyone help me?Is there a database or a community with which i could contact in order to get such results?

Just look in the journals like Phys. Fluids, J. Fluid Mech. and Annual Review of Fluid Mechanics and you will find many articles about this topic.
