Reactor simulation using CFD takes to the Internet

I am posting this message as CFD online users might be interested in trying out this free demonstration.

PFD, an engineering software and consultancy company which specialises in CFD with chemical reactions, believes that CFD should be widely available and easy to use by engineers, rather than just CFD specialists. One way to achieve this is to make CFD accessible across a network, with a customised user interface for specific applications. They have developed a CFD interface for reactor simulations (called Net.Re@ction) and from April 1999, anybody with an Internet connection can access CFD (FLUENT 4.5 and PFDReaction 1.1) and run reactor simulations directly at PFD's Net.Re@ction web site

The Net.Re@ction program available on-line is set up for fast reactions in tubular reactors, but can easily be extended to stirred tanks. Usage is free, but after your visit, PFD will ask you to fill a short questionnaire to tell them what you thought about the program and the overall concept of CFD across the Internet.
