Hello
I am a master's student of mechanical engineering and this term i must pass Advanced Fluid Mechanics course.in this course we have one project which is this: Solving fluid flow in a 2D cavity (there is no heat transfer) using one of these methods:FEM or Lattice Boltzmann the problem is i have no background in CFD and i don't know what is FEM or Lattice Boltzmann and i don't have much time to learn them, now i need your guidance guys,i just want to know which method is easier to learn and easier to use for solving the problem and will take less time to write a code (fortran or C) for solving the problem. thanks in advance |

You can write both in a day or so. Can you use external libraries for mesh handling or sparse matrices?
