Difficulties modeling temperature stratification

Hello,
I am modeling a reservoir with a stratified temperature with the k-epsilon model, but I am running into some problems. My initial temperature gradient disappears within 10 iterations, and the flow vectors point vertically upward at all wall boundaries. Any ideas what could be causing this to happen? Please help me! Thanks for your input! RP |

Are you using the segregated solver? If so, try using the coupled explicit solver.
