I am a student trying to familiarize myself in the field in CFD. Can anyone refer me to a book/paper that shows transformation that converts a control volume in cartesian coordinate to a unit volume in general coordinate space? Thanks in advance.

Refer Chapter 8: Computational Methods for fluid Dynamics by Ferziger and Peric. But first u may need some basics on coordinate transformation (Read Numerical Grid Generation by Thompson Thames and Warsi)
