Dear there,
Could you tell me how to generate 2-D numerical mesh in general orthogonal curvilinear coordinate? I have write codes using the methods of: Ryskin & Leal, J. Comp. Phys., 1983, and Eca, J. Comp. Phys., 1996, respectively. But I am not happy with the quality of the meshed. Could you tell me what to do? Thank you. Jenny |

Hi
Have a look at : http://www-users.informatik.rwth-aac.../software.html http://www.andrew.cmu.edu/user/sowen/softsurv.html Good Luck Apurva |

I had an impression that Ryskin and Leal's method has some convergence difficulties for some problems.
According to my experience, Knupp's method is more robust, and the mesh quality is not bad too. (JCP, 100:409-418, 1992) Hope this helps. |
