I have been involve in developing a fortran code to simulate effect like water hammer and i used programs available in Hydraulic books from chudhary and Wylie, ya program wasnt a problem but later i have tried to improve it with two different dia pipe using a reducer inbetween them and i want to calculate the losses in reducer too. In Chudhary you find a refernce how to do so but believe me i have put all my effort to implement in my code but never able to get the correct results. I even used to original program but if you introduce the losses inside the reducer connecting two pipe results are not correct. If any one know and have done any thing perhaps i can get some idea. Any way i have droped those books and now i have my own program which actually works more good.

regrards,

Aziz
