Hello everyone,
I am simulating the case of impinging jet flow, the distance from the nozzle outlet to plate is 4D(diameter of the nozzle), the modle i chosed is RNG with enhanced wall treatment. I campare the simulating results with measurment data, they fit well with each other, however, the turbulent intensity is underpredicted both for the free jet and wall jet region, especially for wall jet region it's even worse. For k-e family, the turbulent intensity is usually over predcited, but for my case it is reversed. Can anyone tell me why i have lower predcited turbulent intensity? Does it has any relation to the provided bounday condition for turbulent kinetic energy? or the model i used ? I am looking forward to your reply Thanks in advance |
