hi,

i am new to CFD and my master thesis work is on cfd simulation for multiphase flow using VOF in fluent.

i have recently heard one of the problem that people faced using VOF for compressible flows (like multiphase) in fluent i.e. Fluent takes mach no compressiblity effects instead of state equation compressibility effect.

Can any body explain it to me, why is it so and how to avoid it???

Hi ash-khan
fluent has number of multiphase options. Try MFIX its open source and very flexible.
