I am a laid-off engineer, and I am thinking about learning CFD (with cd-adapco's "No Engineer Left Behind" program)and trying to find related work. What is the market like for individual consultants in CFD? Do any of you work from home for multiple clients, or single clients? How are proprietary information issues dealt with? Is it possible to just jump right in, with only training and no experience?
What about permanent jobs? How is the market right now? Any help or advice would be appreciated. Doug |
