Hi All Iam looking for a subsonic test case with heat transfer for validating my code. Can anyone suggest some. A bit about code: It's an unstructured fully compressible code.
Thankx and regards Senthil |

Look, you could try the test of a differentially heated cavity at high Grasshof number. They usually do it with the Boussinesq, but if you increase the temperature difference, the central vortex should be moving (due to flow expansion, a phenomenon that a Boussinesq-based solver cannot predict).. See papers of Mohamad and Viskanta. Another good test is summarized by Christon et al. (see 8:1 cavity benchmark)
Good luck! |
