Dear CFD colleagues,

I am dealing with CFD modelling of combustion and radiation phenomena. In this respect I would like to perform CFD calculations of a furnace, where both phenomena are present, in order to validate my implementation of those models. I already made calulations of some experimental furnace for which the experimental measurements were available, but the data is rather old - from 1971.

So, I am interested if there is some newer experimental data available, and which I could use for my purposes? Any information is welcome.

The combustion literature is full of experimental data. Consult journals such as "Combustion and Flame," "Progress in Energy and Combustion Science," and the biannual proceedings of the international symposia on combustion published by The Combustion Institute. There are a number of on-line databases that you should be able to find with a search engine.
