make an animation plots from the data

Hi.. everyone,

I got the sequence velocity data at each time step.

I'd like to make an animation from these velocity data.

Could you tell me what software I use or anything about that?

You can use tecplot for that. prasat

Hi,

If you work under linux, use gnuplot, write in fortran, you may look at <A HREF="http://www.afm.ses.soton.ac.uk/~sergei/Plotter.f">http://www.afm.ses.soton.ac.uk/~sergei/Plotter.f</a>.

Or if you dont have tecplot just make gif images of each frame with whatever software you have and then merge them using <a href=http://aero.iisc.ernet.in/~praveen/prog/index.html#gifsicle>gifsicle </a> to produce an animation.
