water hammer?

Default water hammer?

My problem is of water hammer type. Do you know of any references that I can read to understand the physics of the problem and to simulate it? thanks

The two most common water hammer references are Fluid Transients by E. Benjamin Wylie & Victor L. Streeter and Applied Hydraulic Transients by M. Hanif Chaudry.
