Hello,
I am simulating an FCC stripper using MFIX software running in linux. When running the code, only a single cpu is being used on an intel core 2 duo processor. I am hoping to speed up the execution by running the code on both processors. Does anyone know how to do this? P.S. I compile the code using the 'nohup' command in linux. I have also tried mpirun and mpprun, but it says the files are of the wrong type. Thanks |

To my knowledge many parts of mfix and mainly the particle tracking has not been parallelized.
