Hello,

I am simulating an FCC stripper using MFIX software running in linux. When running the code, only a single cpu is being used on an intel core 2 duo processor. I am hoping to speed up the execution by running the code on both processors. Does anyone know how to do this?

P.S. I compile the code using the 'nohup' command in linux. I have also tried mpirun and mpprun, but it says the files are of the wrong type.

Thanks

To my knowledge many parts of mfix and mainly the particle tracking has not been parallelized.
