Morning all!
I have been performing some CFD analysis on a NACA0012 Aerofoil and have been investigating the effects of using different viscous models. I have been using to date the Standard k-e model. I understand the RNG model allows for smaller scales of motion to be represented in the turbulence structure, but how does it achieve this? Many thanks for all your help to date |

The standard paper for RNG model is the paper by Orzag and Yakot. Try to look for the paper. Its in physics of fluids around 90s I guess.
