Grid around a cylinder for beginners in C or fortran

Hey pals,
I am quite new in CFD and iam trying to do a grid around a cylinder in C or fortran Do u know where i can find it or what book i need to read, Thx in advance |

It depends on the kind of grid that you are trying to do. If you want a o grid its straightforward use of hyperbolic tangent and sine functions/hyperbolic grid generator. If you want to use other types of grids you might need to get the equations for generation. You can find them in the book of Thompson, available on-line.
