I am analysing a propeller having Clark-Y section, for its thrust and efficiency. I am using CFD-ACE code for both meshing and solving. I am using unstructured grid. Around the propeller a rotating domain is there and there is an outer rectangular domain. I have used some gridding guidelines from AIAA drag prediction workshop. Still I am not getting proper results. I think it is because of maximum and minimum cell sizes given as input to the tool. Does any body know about how to calculate them properly for the current geometry. Please help me in this regard. it is urgent.
If there any importance to be given for rotating domain size, please sugest me. Last edited by raghu_malnad; April 28, 2009 at 09:23. |
