I am numerically studying the flow field of a jet from a converging nozzle. My simulation domain only consists of the nozzle and pressure inlet/outlet boundary conditions.
I have obtained a converged solution for thsi problem using the standard k-epsilon turbulence model..however..I wish to capture the secondary flow effects and am try to solve the problem using the 7 eq RSM model. Even though I am providing the initial values as the results obtained from the standard k-epsilon simulation I am unable to obtain a converged solution..I have also tried reducing the under relaxation parameters... If any one had come across this kind of a problem or has a clue to solve this problem..I will appreciate ny possible help.. Regards, Amitabh |
