Hi all,
I am going to use kiva3v for engine simulation, but still not familiar with the grid generation process. I used starcd with es-ice before. Is the mesh that k3prep prepare a static one with piston at BDC and valves fully open? What about a mesh for kiva done in Icem, is it also a stactic one? Since the geometry of the engine is quite complicated and I have never used Icem before, I am considering using es-ice for a static engine mesh and then converting the result into Kiva format with Icem. Is this method applicable? How to assign boundary conditions in Icem for Kiva mesh? Thanks for your help! Mepgzzi |
