My thesis is about compressible multifluid modeling using Front tracking method .im looking for a conservative algorithm for advecting the front (boundary between separate phases).traditional methods arnt suitable for my perpose. thanks

In fact, the researchers of SUNY are doing something about convervative front tracking, you can find some papers about that at website of math dept. at SUNY.
They use front tracking or level set to get the interface, and reconstruct the convervative flux to calculate the variables. Another development is someone at NUS of singapore(maybe I have a mistake) using the level set and conservative reconstruction of flux. I think the idea is the same as SUNY's development. |
