Thank for your reply.
In deed, I have used ftp command to transfer the data between alpha workstation and Cray UNICOS system. At the same, I also can transfer the data from my local PC to alpha workstation. but I want to establish the direct connection between my local PC and remote CRAY system. I know my IP address of local PC and can login to CRAY system, I use the Telnet, ftp command in CRAY to connect my login local PC, but it doesn't work, Is it the firewall problem? Best regards, |

You can make a direcotry in the workstation and define it as a net neighbour of the PC. Then, any file you put in this directory can be read directly in the PC.

Thank for your help In fact, I can directly visit my all files in the shared directory in my alpha workstation defined by a net neighbour of the PC, as you have mentioned in this response. However, I want to establish the same visiting method, i.e. the directory under CRAY SYSTEM can appear in my local PC as a shared directory. What can I do it? Thanks!
