The first time I heard about Thinkdesign was at a meeting at a Car company in Munich. They started using it at the aero dep. because they found, that it is the best surface modeler available today. Now I'm usig it myself and it is much easier to learn than ProE or UG, cheaper and very usefull if you have to deal with mixed ( surface and solid) models.
After cleaning the models I export them as IGES for meshing or Step for the UG users. |

What mesher/solver are you using? What type of analyses do you perform? CFD only?

Gripdro for high quality hex meshes. Proam ,Prostar and Prosurf for the rest. CFD calculations with starcd.
