internal / external flow schemes

Is it meaningful to use Flux differencing (Roe) and Flux splitting (Van leer) schemes for internal flows? Thanks for any help...

Yes, just as meaningful as using them for external flows - I see no principal difference in the schemes you use for external and internal flows.

Thanks Jonas, Then what is the main difference between Flux splitting/differencing and the SIMPLE scheme? Because some people prefer using SIMPLE type schemes for internal flows than using Flux splitting/differencing.
