hello all,
what is the best way to define a physically correct BC for an inlet with mixed subsonic/supersonic flow ? Currently I use the total pressure at the inlet but acc. to the characteristics method it seems to be insufficient or unappropriate. ThanX Sascha |

You must use some characteristic-based boundary conditions. See Chapter 19, Vol. 2 of the book by Hirsch.
