Default validation for cylindrical code

Hi,

I have written a code in three dimensional cylindrical coordinate using SIMPLE and Multigrid method for incompressible flows. I want to validate my code but I don't know the good numerical examples for steady and unsteady flows. Can someone give me the usual examples and references to validate the code for cylindrical geometry flows?

Thanks in advance.

A good example is fully developed laminar flow along a pipe - Poiseiulle flow. There is an analytic solution for this flow, so it's an excellent first test case. You'll find the solution in fluid mechanics text books.
