CFD Guest Lecture

I'm preparing a guest lecture to give an introduction to CFD and its use in industry. The lecture is for a basic university course on fluid dynamics.
Has anyone done something similar before? Perhaps you even have some material that you would be willing to share with me (ppt slides, pictures, animations, ..)? Digging out things to cover many application areas is a lot of work... I'm still missing good material for a few important areas like automotive (anyone have any nice animations or so?) and civil engineering (bridges, high houses, cities, ...). Any help appreciated! Perhaps we could even prepare a joint "CFD Guest Lecture" to put here on CFD Online for everybody to use when needed! |

I hope that CFD application on Chemical Engineering field will also covered by this lecture..... B'coz I think we need also to develop it on this field in term of reactor design or distillation column design, etc.

Is it possible to give the guest lecture in Indonesia? We hope that this guest lecture can also be given in Indonesia, especially in Institute Technology of Bandung or Diponegoro University. Hopefully

Jonas,
I saw some really smart auto applications that had been undertaken by 'advantage CFD'. The guys name escapes me at present, although Dr Scott rings a bell. They may be worth a www look. Hope this helps Mark Russell |
