Pressure correction question - Please help!

Dear friends
I have 1-dimensional mesh with colocated variable arrangement. The mesh represents a pipe section. The inlet velocity is fixed and the outlet velocity gradient is zero. The pressure at the outlet boundary is constant. My questions: What must be the boundary conditions for the pressure correction eqn? (SIMPLE algorithm) Also, how is the BC for the pressure correction eqn implemented? How do I ensure that the pressure at the outlet boundary does not change (we calculate cell values)? Therefore how do I ensure that the pressure correction will be zero at the outlet boundary face? Typically how many iterations of the momentum solution for every pressure correction solution and how many global iterations required? (just a ball park figure will do) Thank you Barry |

Forgot to say:
The flow is steady, laminar and incompressible. |
