Not directly related to this message but I wonder if how could it be possible for CFX lost money last fiscal year with 20 million revenue. It seemed to me they might have been losing ground to fluent or to others, or cfd-industry is not so profitable as I thought. -Selina

Selina,
CFX has been doing well. I just think that it is a strategic rethink of AEA Technology business strategy(look at their web site) to focus on Rail and Environment in place of Nuclear and associate engineering tools, such as CFD in the case of CFX. Technically CFX is one of the very best commercial CFD codes with plenty of potential for complex physics and chemistry, and an excellent supporting staff. A CFX user |
