Hi, there:

Does anyone know how to visualize a meteorological phenomenon like tornado or cyclone by computer technique currently? I prefer to OpenGL. But any other software works better I'd like to adopt.

If you're looking for vortex eduction, very impressive work has been done in this area at the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics. For example, see:
