Default gas-fired furnace modelling

I'm looking for information about modelling gas-fired furnace, specially steel reheating furnace. I know the finite volume method described in Patankar book and in Chandraseekar's one. I am familiarized with matlab. In the plant in which I work, an integrated steelmaker, we use a mixture of gases (natural, coke and blast furnace gas) conserving the wobbe index. I would like to know if someone had studied the influence of different mixtures of gases with the same wobbe index, in combustion parameters (flame shape, soot production, heat release, etc). Regards.
