choice of turbulence model

I would like to simulate the flow between turbine airfoils. There are some turbulators on the airfoils. Which turbulence model (amongst the following) would be the best choice: 1. conventional k-e with wall function 2. two layer 3. RNG k-e model

In a recent training class, I made a comment on the similar question. The answer is: (1). run 3 cases with different turbulence models ( I hope that you are using a commercial code), (2). take the average value from the three results. ( curve fit through these three sets of result would be more scientific) The choice-1 is more economic to run, the choice-2 requires finer mesh, the choice-3 is not widely used ( harder to get some feed back). The above answer is not a joke.
