Hello sir/madam,

I'm relatively naive to the CFD

methodology having done few problems to my credit....

COUETTE FLOW ANALYSIS, SIMULATION OF CONVERGENT DIVERGENT NOZZLE,

OBLIQUE SHOCK ANALYSIS. I'd like to share my experiences in solving these problems

and solutions I got in the process. Also I'm interested in exchanging views regarding

the ADAPTIVE GRID METHODOLOGY AND THE METHOD OF CHARACTERISTICS.. If anybody is interested, please mail me at raghuram@vikram.svrec.ernet.in

I'm doing my Final year Mechanical Engineering at

REGIONAL ENGINEERING COLLEGE,SURAT,INDIA. My project too

is too based on CFD.

Thanking you,

Raghuram K.S

Hello Mr. Raghuram:

You may feel free to send me your questions for discussion on adaptive methods, the method of characteristics etc.

Incidentally, the method of characteristics is a good method for analyzing cfd schemes, particularly boundary conditions. However, for computing general cfd solutions it has been superceded by other methods which are better suited to computer implementation.
