entrainment of droplets from liquid surface

Hi, I am trying to solve a problem where I would like to investigate the droplet flow in a geometry by Lagrangian calculation of the droplet paths. Apart from some droplets entering the domain, there would probably also be entrainment of droplets from an internal liquid surface into the gas flow and I would like to include these droplets in the solution. My problem is now that I do not know the mass flux and droplet size distribution of droplets entrained from the liquid surface into the gas. A vertical jet of gas hits the horizontal liquid surface and the resulting horizontal velocity across the liquid surface is rather high (up to 100m/s) and I expect very small liquid drops arising. Does anyone know of a way to estimate the droplet entrainment from a liquid surface into the gas flow? (Possibly modelled through STAR-CD or Fluent).
