hi, i need to find a simulation program that is able to work with two fluids of different densities in one pipe. can someone recommend/suggest something ? thanks a lot !

It depends of that you are exactly looking for :
a free or low price software, a commercial high end cfd software it also depends of that you are trying to model : fluid flow w/ one phase and two species (e.g. water and alcohol) or two phase flow best regards alain |

hi all Kindly advice regarding selection best and cost effective commercial CFD software for modeling Multi phase flows/reactive flows.
additionally I want to know whether ansys flotran module can simulate multiphase flows. |

the two fluids are jet fuel and water. i'm trying to simulate the use of jet fuel to flush water out in a bent pipe. free software is preferred. thank you.
