Hi all, I have this postprocessing question: Is there any more convenient way to precisely read the seperation angle for a flow over a circular cylinder other than looking it from the velocity vectors. I assume that this angle can be sensed indirectly using a line plot of some other data over the cylinder. I am using FIDAP

Can you plot the skin friction coefficient versus chord or angle? Where the coefficient changes sign (from plus to minus) is your point of separation.
