I know there are countless "success stories" of how using CFD analysis on many design projects helped many manufacturing companies save millions. Does anyone have a source where these "success stories" are listed and quantitative details are given on the actual savings involved.
Thanks in advance for your replies --Giovanni |

You can browse the sites of various vendors of CFD. I presume they typically would advertise success stories. On the other hand, if there are success stories, the companies that needed the solutions may not want to publicise that they had problems, or how the problems were resolved. It is perhaps easier to list the success stories on how CFD has advanced the understanding of fundamental research problems.

Giovanni, Best place to look would be the three main general CFD houses, ie CFX, Fluent and Star CD. Other places to look would be some of the companies that do CFD consultancy, they may well present their success stories.
