hello everybody,
translate a program or subroutine, under GPL or simmilar license, from fortran 77 to C, and use it it's ilegal ??? Thanks in advance. |

the main aim of GPL was that the customer should be able to customised it according to his own needs and is thus in no way illegal

You can use it and modify it. However, it think your program must also be open source. You should read the license.
