I am presently writting my Msc dissertation on the subject: "Numerical modeling for confluences in open channel with supercritical flow. Hence, I'm looking for a comrecial software to help me with my dissertation. It would be purchased by the University and also used for other purposes at the Hydraulics Division in Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Can you point me some good options so I could contact the respective companies?

I have seen such work carried out by the CFX people in the UK and with HR Wallingford (who uses CFX) the former UK hydraulic reserach station...
