Cylindrical grid around rudder geometry

Hi,
I am using a 3D Euler solver, based on the FVM. I have to analyze the forces developed on a rudder located downstream of a propeller. The grid around the propeller has to be cylindrical (requirement of the code), with the 'i' index in the axial direction (increasing downstream), 'j' index in increasing radial direction and 'k' index in the circumferential direction. Therefore, I need to fit a cylindrical grid at each axial location along the chord of a rudder. The problem arises as the base of the rudder extends to below the x-axis. If anyone has worked with similar geomtries, please help me out. |
